Piotr Gajda – An Architect of Fashion

It all began with music and finally via theatre and modelling Piotr found the pathway to the true love of his life. Fashion and design, like air to breathe, are two things he cannot function without and he decisively and consistently pursues his goals. He was already fascinated by the world of fashion at a young age, initially observing fashion in films, the theatre, opera, on the street and later from behind the scenes while working as a model. Ultimately, he decided to travel to the USA where he designed his first collection.
His present achievements of constantly new, exciting collections and a growing clientele base are the results of his passion and commitment. His latest collection was shown in London during Fashion Expo 2008. At present he is working on the Pirelli calendar and is preparing the next large collection for future shows in London and Warsaw. He also plans to open a boutique in London.

As part of his creativity he pays particular attention to the figure and to finding unique solutions. He values a classy and elegant style combined with nonchalance and extravagance, attaching great importance to detail and sumptuous accessories. He favours designs in subdued colours and monochromes making use of his favourite, elegant fabrics and materials such as silk chiffons, satins, cashmere, silk taffeta and lace.
